Ezra Wilson-Nausner was born in Russia and grew up in South Minneapolis after being adopted. At age fourteen, he enrolled in his first Juxtaposition Arts program, taking classes in painting, drawing, constructive criticism, and the class he currently teaches, Free Wall. Since then, he has created graffiti art wherever and whenever he can. After a few years participating in a number of JXTA’s programs, Ezra enrolled at Perpich Center for Arts and graduated in 2010. During his time in high school, he was also given the opportunity to attend SAIC’s summer program, and he also received a welding certificate from Dunwoody College of Technology. Throughout his career, Wilson-Nausner has taught Free Wall at JXTA and completed commissioned pieces for a number of individuals and organizations throughout Minnesota, including Leech Lake Reservation, Whole Foods Block Party, Tillys grand opening at MOA, Ground Breaker Battle by Cowless arts, WBC Broadway Garbage Can Project, and Rockford MN food shelf. Ezra is always doing small projects and private commissions and loves sharing the skills and knowledge he has acquired throughout his career with the next generation of young artists.
