Lauren is a people-centric fundraiser, with over 13 years of experience in mobilizing resources for change. She is passionate about the intersections of art-making, shared experience, equity, identity, politics, and place; themes that guided her graduate work on how small community-based arts nonprofits in the Twin Cities struggle or thrive. A Minneapolis resident for over 21 years, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Leadership Master’s degree program, Lauren serves the local arts community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. She is thrilled to make a home at JXTA, where she brings her passion for art and community, relationship-based philanthropy, and organizational leadership, to help elevate one of the most important institutions around.
