Erika Stinson (she/her) serves as Director of Finance and Operations at JXTA, where she brings over a decade of operations management experience to her work in financial stewardship. Her career has taken her through multimillion-dollar private companies like Peloton Interactive and revenue-neutral public service organizations including USPS, where she developed expertise in streamlining processes, optimizing resources, and leading cross-functional teams. This operational foundation now informs her approach to finance, allowing her to see beyond the numbers and understand how financial decisions impact organizational health and mission delivery. 

What drew Erika to JXTA was the opportunity to give back and create new pathways for youth in communities like where she grew up in Detroit, MI. She leverages her strong analytical skills and strategic insights—honed through years of managing financial metrics, cost analysis, and budget planning—to support JXTA’s mission. Her colleagues often point to her superpower: mediation—finding common ground to help teams navigate challenges and reach amicable compromises that move the organization forward. Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with family, binge-watching her favorite shows, revamping old furniture, and writing. She brings this same creativity and attention to detail to her role at JXTA, where operational excellence meets financial accuracy in service of youth empowerment.
