Jenny Tam (she/they) is JXTA’s Communications and Development Manager. Jenny is a strategic designer by trade and an artist by heart. They bring nearly a decade of experience in community youth organizing, strategy consultancy, and performance art. She leads with care and forethought in her role at JXTA, informed by her previous work at national recognized strategy firm, and lessons from Stanford’s Design for Social Impact. Jenny holds a B.A. in Global Studies and Human Rights from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and her practice lives at the intersection of community building, stakeholder engagement and strategic design.  

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys her time with friends at Minneapolis Bouldering Project, traveling, volunteering at the Cedar Riverside encampment and all things film. Oh, and of course, they would be remiss not to mention being a cat mother to her two cats Banh Xeo and Wu Tau.
