THE GREAT NORTHERN FESTIVAL commissioned JXTA’s Graphics Lab to create this animation for the 2022 festival.

Graphics apprentices and leads developed this storyline to explore the ways that winter makes opportunities for connections, even amidst the colder temps and shorter days. The animation premiered at The Great Northern Festival on Jan 26, 2022, projected on the side of the Highlight Tower in Northeast Minneapolis.
