JXTA'S Open House
We are excited to welcome you and the community back into our buildings. We will be hosting an Open House on Monday, March 13th, 2023 from 5-7pm. We will be sharing about our updated and expanded free youth programs, youth employment opportunities for high schoolers, and offering self-guided tours for our new headquarters with current JXTA apprentices!
Please RSVP using the QR code so that we can plan accordingly for the best experience possible. Can’t wait to have yall back in our spaces and fill our programs with the new upcoming youth artists and designers!
Together, we’re building a space for the next generation of artists, thinkers, and doers to thrive. Your contribution matters.

Capital & Legacy Campaign
We’ve launched the largest initiative in our history: a $14 million Capital & Legacy Campaign to build a state-of-the-art facility at our current location.
Taught by practicing artists and educators, this intensive 12-week course introduces students ages 12-21 to foundational design concepts and drawing techniques. Successful completion of one VALT session is required to interview for JXTA paid apprenticeships at age 14.
Free Wall is a FREE introductory 3-week summer camp in which students learn the history and techniques of aerosol writing with local masters of the medium.
Available for young artists who have completed the Visual Arts Literacy Training (VALT) program, JXTALabs offer advanced training in six artistic areas of study as well as real paid client projects.
