The Metropolitan Airports Commission created this Travel Confidently MSP Education Center in MSP’s Terminal 1 to support travel equity and accessibility. This one-of-a-kind facility supports multiple purposes, including providing travelers who could benefit from a pre-flight experience a place to practice boarding a plane in a realistic environment. Artists from JXTA’s Graphics Lab created this artwork to invoke calming and serene aspects of natural landscapes and to reflect metaphorical icons of hope and optimism, while the cool and warm color combinations were designed with those who identify with neurodivergent communities in mind.
