As a Minneapolis native, Mikesha Barnes has a strong passion for both arts and culture and uses her professional experiences to support local communities. Mikesha’s career began within marketing where she supported corporations in the areas of communication and digital strategy. Following graduate school, Mikesha moved into more strategic marketing roles to incorporate project management principles within marketing campaigns, internal events, and account partnerships.

In her spare time, Mikesha enjoys spending time outdoors with my sons, dancing salsa and bachata, and reading.
